I actually started this post months ago, but after a few technical difficulties, I finally started it over again and finished it. I just thought it would be interesting to post some pics of the girls at the same stages. They definitely look sooo similar, but two beautiful different girls! It'll be just as interesting to see how their personalities emerge as they get older!

70 Things About Me...

I've been tagged. 70 random things about me...

1. I am Polish-Czech-English-Irish-American Indian Descent

2. I grew up in Lovelady, TX and New Waverly, TX, so I consider the whole area in between the two my home.

3. I used to hate reading with a passion, now it's one of my favorite things to do!

4. Speaking of...I have way too many books that I'll probably never be able to finish reading.

5. Speaking of...(yes, I'm a nerd) I keep a list of books I'd like to read one day, and it's over 400 long!

6. I love summer, warm or hot weather, and beaches. If I could afford it, I'd move to Aruba!

7. I never imagined being a stay-at-home-mom.

8. I love being a stay-at-home-mom.

9. My favorite foods include pizza, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes & cream gravy, and fried okra.

10. Although you probably wouldn't know it (LOL) I love to exercise. (I just don't have time to, or the time I have is just used for higher priorities right now)

11. I love to bargain shop...coupons with sales, resale shops, garage sales, etc. I get an adrenaline rush from getting a great deal!

12. I really don't care for theme park rides.

13. I, too, have always been okay with eating various things straight out of a can.

14. I have a major sweet-tooth.

15. I hate taking the trash out.

16. My favorite restaurants are Potato Patch on 1960 and Casa Ole.

17. I am THRIFTY! I believe I should try my best to be a good steward of what I am blessed with monetarily. (Couldn't agree more with Michelle, here!)

18. I'm very analytical and logic-minded (everything has to make since, or it doesn't compute!)

19. My degree is in Economics.

20. As Brent says, "I'm a Pusher". I push people to be their best.

21. I love basketball and March Madness!

22. I finally finished the one-year bible our church was reading through. The second year I tried in like 15 months! LOL But that was always a goal of mine, so I'm excited!

23. I would love to visit lots of different places all over the world, but probably never will. Guess that's what the travel channel is for!

24. I watch Rachael Ray & Dr. Phil.

25. I've written a children's book, but have no idea how to get it published.

26. I'd like to write some adult devotional/self-help books, but every time I sit down to write I have no idea where to begin.

27. I never got my patches for my high school letter jacket...maybe one day. LOL

28. I hate public speaking, or reading aloud in front of people, although I'm working on overcoming that!

29. I want to learn how to sew more, knit, crochet, etc. (whenever I mysteriously come up with an extra 5 hours in a day!)

30. I'm a cat-person.

31. I miss the innocent Saturday morning cartoons...Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, Donald Duck, etc.

32. I love Coffee and can't wait to drink it daily again!

33. I reuse & recycle, and it confuses all our guests! LOL

34. I often don't leave messages because I think I sound like a 12-yr.old on messages!

35. I journal every day, mostly to keep a record of things that happen when my kiddos are little, so when I'm old and senile, I can at least read my memories!

36. I don't blowdry my hair very often

37. I am still driving my second car, a Malibu. My first was a Ford Sable hand-me-down.

38. I'm cheesy. When Brent & I were dating, I decorated his truck with a bunch of signs for his birthday, and a bunch of confetti in his truck bed!

39. Brent and I have the same birthday, I'm actually just an hour older.

40. I have worked at McDonalds, as a telemarketer, at Unique Tan, at TDCJ, and at a law firm.

41. I started out as a pre-physical therapy major. Changed to Agribusiness, then to Accounting, then to Economics. Then started, but haven't finished a nursing program, and personal training certification.

42. As you might guess, I've been very indecisive about my job/career goals. There are too many things I'd like to do and not enough time in my life to do it all!

43. I kept a lot of my toys from childhood, and now Raegan is playing with a lot of them!

44. I love Christmas time, even though it's cold.

45. I could watch Christmas movies and listen to Christmas music in July.

46. I'm not a big fan of the gift exchange, though. I love giving presents, but wish I didn't have to receive them!

47. I love taking pictures.

48. I used to have allergic asthma, and weekly allergy shots.

49. I got pulled over (and given a warning) once for cutting through the DPS parking lot to make a light! LOL (Wasn't thinking on that one!)

50. I would like to learn to play the piano, violin, and guitar. (better get busy, huh?!)

51. I would like to re-learn Spanish, since I forgot most of what I learned in high school.

52. I love movies and shows where there's a lot of coffee-drinking! Like You've got Mail, Gilmore Girls...

53. I love colorful pens.

54. The weirdest thing I've ever eaten was alligator...tasted like chicken.

55. I only eat seafood when I'm in an adventurous mood. I have a mental block against "fishy-smelling" seafood!

56. I cannot live with roaches, either!

57. I've also been stung by a scorpion.

58. *Knock on wood* I've never broken a bone (yet).

59. In the 4th Grade, My head got cut open (only 4 stitches, but lots of blood) by a swing at recess.

60. I get stressed out when there's nothing to do. I have to be busy at when I used to work. If I was caught up, I'd get stressed out!

61. I've flown once, to Washington, DC.

62. I actually got better grades in Woodshop/Ag classes than a lot of the guys in high school. I still like building things.

63. The center stone in my wedding ring came from my mom's ring from my dad.

64. I enjoy learning about my genealogy and hearing stories about people's lives.

65. I still have a pair of jeans that I've owned since the 6th grade, hoping to get back into them! LOL....They're not even in style anymore! LOL

66. I hope to go on mission trips. I've never been able to, and want to when the kids get older.

67. I enjoy cynical, sarcastic humor, like Seinfield, or King of Queens.

68. Even though I love summer & beaches...I love rustic, Colorado-lodge style houses.

69. I have one brother 2 years older than me, and another half-brother 13 years older than me.

70. I love concession-stand/carnival food! LOL Nachos! Yum!

I'm not tagging anyone, because 70 is really hard to come up with! LOL But I enjoy reading these, because you really do learn more about people from them!

Bethany is Rolling

Sunday the 8th, Bethany rolled over for the first time! Yay! Back to Front. Then Monday the 9th, she rolled over Front to Back. Every time I put her on the floor, she starts rolling. I went to grab a diaper one time and just in the 30 seconds I was gone she did it again! I'm trying to get a video uploaded, but I don't know all the functions of our new video camera! So that'll come soon!
