Another Moment to Praise God

Well, I'm having a cyst removed from my hand tomorrow. Yesterday the surgery facility said they may call today if Dr. Kobza changed the time, that sometimes he'll come in earlier. Well, they called today but he was wanting to push it back to 10:45 instead of 9:00. I asked if he forgot I was hypoglycemic and he told me to schedule it first thing in the morning. So, I called his office and they took my number and said they'd call me back.

So then, we were trying to decide if we should go through with the surgery or postpone it. If we go through with it, theoretically I would be fine, because they would give me an IV of sugar, but the idea just makes me nervous. If we chose to wait until he can be there earlier or another physician can do it earlier, we would be into the new year and have to pay the deductible again.

So I prayed, read some scripture and Psalm 106:44-48 popped out at me. Literally, within 30 minutes, after I started expecting them never to call me back, they did call back. And he was able to rearrange his schedule and get me in at 8:30. Something I so did not expect! So, I had to share and give Glory to God. He does answer prayers...keep the faith!

So, I will be having my surgery tomorrow. Please be in prayer for me. I know it's a comparatively minor surgery, but with the lightheadedness I've been having, I was concerned about fasting for it. And we all know that things can go ary even in minor surgeries. So I would appreciate your prayers for everything to go smoothly tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a nice Thanksgiving! Had so many laughs at the things the kiddos said. Raegan was just starting to fall asleep as we were arriving at Lovelady, so she was a little groggy and grumpy. Well, after playing a little and a handful of screams, Ty says, "Why is she so grumpy?" LOL Then later at the table, Peter was getting a little fussy and Ty says, "Why are you acting like Raegan?"!!! He's sooo cute! Then little Hannah arrived and I guess it's been almost a year since she's seen Raegan. She comes in and Brent is holding Bethany, looks up at Bethany and says, 'Hi Raegan!" LOL Too precious!

Just another testament to how much we are loved by God. Here's the PROMISE that He will command His angels to guard you in all your ways. WOW! They will lift us up in their hands, so that I won't even strike my foot on a stone! Amazing, just amazing. Read this today, and just was wondering why we don't pray this for our loved ones (and ourselves) more often.

LORD, Most High, You are awesome! Your love for sinners like me just amazes me. So does your faithfulness. Lord, I fail you often. I know my sinful nature is constantly battling my desire to serve you. And yet, You are faithful to forgive me when I do things I do not want to do. I am so thankful for your forgiveness and grace. I am so thankful You love each and every one of us the way You do. Thank You for the promises You give us in Your Word. Thank You for knowing and meeting all our needs. Father God, I pray that I will conintually make You my dwelling place and refuge. And I pray I will remember to acknowlegde your name, always. God I ask that you will keep my loved ones or turn my loved ones toward You. You know and love them just the same. I pray they will forever make You their dwelling place and refuge. And God I just thank you again for your forgiveness through Christ Jesus. Help me to embody your characteristics of love, grace, mercy, forgiveness and compassion to my neighbors. Help me to radiate Jesus and glorify You. It is through Jesus that I boldly come to You. Amen.

Just a few pictures from the girls' birthday party...

I know I haven't posted in a long time, but we've been having internet troubles, so I'm using another computer, that doesn't have my photos, my favorites, my (shhh..passwords), etc already saved. It's been quite frustrating, but oh well... Anyway, Raegan saw that Bethany was going to be an Angel for Halloween and said she wanted to be an Angel too. So I started gathering up supplies to make her an Angel costume and was looking on Grosgrain for some pointers, and came across this and just had to share it! I love this!

One of my FAVORITE pictures...just because it captured the joy in her heart. We were just spinning around and she thought it was the funnest thing. Had to capture that moment!

Beach Trip 2009

Bethany immediately crawled off the blanket!

And started after the birds...

We also could not keep her from eating sand! Every time we turned around she had a hand full of sand going toward her mouth! Oh, and she picked up a cigarette butt! Nice. Needless to say, taking a mobile baby to the beach is a handful!

Raegan had a blast with her new shovel, rake and sand toys...


We thought it might rain, but it never did while we were there! Yay! Then on the way back we stopped at Potato Patch on 1960...one of our favorites! Fun Day!

I have had numerous people say that Bethany looks more like Brent. And in some ways she does. Like I always say, they look like themselves...a mixture of both of us, our parents, our grandparents, etc...

Eating at "On the Border" Mexican Grill! SOOOOoo good. I fell in love with the Big Burrito. Don't remember exactly what it's called, but yummy! Too bad, I looked them up on the internet and the closest locations are College Station and Cypress. :(
We stopped by Sports Authority to look for something and I noticed this too cute bike. No, we didn't buy it, but maybe we'll add it to her wishlist. Too cute, even has a seat for her doll!
Raegan loved the park we went to. It was nice...we were the only ones there and it was partially shaded.



Swimming at the hotel. Daddy was suppose to get a picture of me with the girls, too. But we forgot. So once again, I'm in none of the pictures! LOL Oh, well...maybe next time!

She was "talking" and chewing on a little toy, and all of the sudden we looked back and she was asleep! Silly girl!
